Spring 2012 Bridal Trends

We hope you had a great weekend! Yesterday Twitter was all aflutter with pics left and right of sneak peeks at the Spring 2012 bridal collections. While there were of course lots of classic styles of sleeves, texture, tulle and lace were all very popular.

One of the biggest surprises was the designs from wedding gown goddess Vera Wang whose “Parisian Opera” influenced gowns incorporated something you don’t normally see in wedding dresses: color! Or, lack there of, as many of the dresses were in nudes.

The biggest surprise at the Vera show had to be her series of black wedding dresses!

Monique Lhuillier was another designer who incorporated color into her collection as well with these beautiful nudes and blushes.

What do you think? While I find myself more attracted to the feminine blushes and actually really like some of the nude and black combinations, I wonder, do they feel “weddingy” enough to you? Do you think you would consider a less traditional and classic white dress and go for a little color on your wedding day?
